A Refugee from Laos Becomes a Lutheran Pastor

A young refugee boy, from the mountains of Laos, becomes the first LCMS pastor of Hmong descent. Hear Professor Seying’s compelling and fascinating story and his thoughts on how the average Christian’s sharing of the gospel locally, can have a global impact.

Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration – Volunteers Needed

Join us for the Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration at Concordia Maplewood from 12-2 p.m. on March 24.

We’ll explain the importance of Easter and share the joy of the celebration by dyeing eggs together.

We will need volunteers for the following:

  • Driving students to and from the event back to campus
  • Helping students dye eggs for the first time
  • Helping set up and serve lunch
  • Helping clean up afterwards

Thanksgiving Feast 2017

Please join us for an American cultural event: a traditional Thanksgiving dinner!

When: Saturday, November 18, 12pm – 2pm

Where: Concordia Lutheran Church in Maplewood

Feel free to bring family and friends to enjoy this unique American holiday.

You may also bring food from your country to share if you wish, but you should not feel obligated to do so.

If you are a student at Wash U, there will be rides available. Meet at the DUC entry facing Forsyth at 11:30am if you need a ride. Please let us know if you’ll be needing a ride so we can be sure to have enough drivers.
